First News has teamed up with Monzo to produce a set of learning packs. Both learning packs, differentiated for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 explore what banks are, and the role they play in our lives.

Primary pack
Primary learners will find out what a bank does, and why it matters in their lives and that of their families. They’ll explore how banks keep money safe, and why not all types of money work in the same way.
Secondary pack
In our secondary pack, learners will explore the roles banks play in society, and through a range of interactive activities, reach a judgement over the most important role banks have in society and their lives.
Assembly pack
Our assembly can be offered independently or in combination with learning from either our primary and secondary packs, exploring the roles of banks with plenty of interactive opportunities for learners to engage in the world of banking.
