THE QUEEN has left hospital, after being admitted there over the weekend.
She was taken ill on Sunday (3 March) with a stomach bug. This is the first time she has stayed in a hospital in ten years.
The Queen has cancelled her duties for the rest of the week. However, officials at Buckingham Palace have insisted that she is "good health", and only went to hospital to make things easier for her doctors.
A spokesperson at the palace said: "She was not taken into hospital immediately after feeling the symptoms. This is simply to enable doctors to better assess her."
The 86-year-old Queen celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, after sixty years on the throne.

I dont think she should have gone to hospital just with a stomach bug, i think they were slightly over reacting. I mean i know she is getting old but SERIOUSLY she didnt need to go to hospital

I hope she is okay.Stomach bugs might sound like it's nothing to us but to royalty it is serious because the people working for her has the responsibility of looking after her.

It's not just they are over-reacting because she's royalty. That's not true. When your 86 a stomach bug could be serious :)
