TEENAGERS won all three medals in an Olympic event on Monday (26 July). Japanese 13-year-old Momiji Nishiya took the Olympic title in the women’s street skateboarding on 26 July, becoming the country’s youngest-ever gold medal winner. As if that wasn’t a spectacular achievement in itself by such a young competitor, the Brazilian silver medallist Rayssa Leal is just 13, too, while bronze medallist Funa Nakayama, also from Japan, only turned 16 in June.
