Green holiday spots
If you're holidaying in the UK here are just a few of our favourite green places to stay:
1. Camp in a tipi
Fancy camping with a twist? Try a traditional tipi! Big enough to sleep from two to 12 people with a living area, a tipi is sleeping outdoors with a difference.
Cornish Tipi Holidays is set in a woodland, surrounding a lake, with 40 tipis to stay in. You can boat or fish on the lake and take walks through the wood spotting the wild flowers, insects and wildlife growing and living there. Each tipi has its own outside area with a picnic bench and campfire, so you can toast marshmallows and tell spooky stories at night!

2. Down on the farm
Do you want to know what life is like on a working farm?
Well, if you're in England, Wales or Northern Ireland you could find out by holidaying at a Feather Down Farm.
Staying in one of their tents is a fancy experience as each one has a wooden floor raised off the ground and areas sectioned off to make three bedrooms, plus a living area. You even have your own toilet!
The farmer will give you a guided tour so you get a really good idea of how the
farm works and you can have the chance to collect chicken eggs each morning
for breakfast.

3. Stay in an eco chalet
Want to holiday on the Scottish coast? Explore an eco chalet! Overlooking the Findhorn Bay near the Moray Firth is a holiday park with a green slant.
The eco chalets are powered by wind turbines and even the crockery comes from a local pottery. Miles of sandy beach stretches along the coast and you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins or seals.
Nearby is the Findhorn Foundation, in which the Eco Village shows how to live in a way that doesn't damage the environment.
