We asked two of our firstnews.co.uk readers Rockgril and Redhorse10 to report on this year's X Factor. Here is what Rockgirl has to say...

Hello! Rockgirl here! This is my report on last night. I hope you like it!

This week on X Factor another batch of hopefuls turned up for the London auditions.

First up, coming all the way from Paris, a twin boy band, Twem took to the stage. They got the audience on their feet by singing ‘Just Dance’ by Lady Gaga. Twem got a ‘no’ from Simon, but a yes from Cheryl and Louis. A good start for Twem!

37-year-old Storm Lee flew all the way from LA just for his audition. Storm had a bad start to his audition but, given a second chance, went through to Boot Camp.

At this stage of the show Natalie Imbruglia joined the judging panel for the Birmingham 2010 auditions where Cher got a shot of becoming famous.

16-year-old Cher was nervous at the start of her audition, but when she started to sing ‘Turn My Swag On’, Cher showed no sign of being nervous. She wowed the judges with her amazing voice, and Simon also said there was something special about her.

Best friends Abby and Lisa AKA Ablisa take to the stage for their audition, which they claim is just for fun. After insulting Natalie and arguing between themselves they decided to sing a Shane Ward number. It was a poor audition and at the end Lisa elbowed Abby in the face whilst leaving the stage without waiting for the judges comments!! The girls were separated back stage and Simon sent a message to say they had four no’s!

But overall the London and Birmingham’s auditions were a success!
