X Factor report: Rockgirl
We asked two of our firstnews.co.uk readers Rockgril and Redhorse10 to report on this year's X Factor. Here is what Rockgirl has to say...
Dublin welcomed Louis Walsh to his home country for the second week of the 2010 X Factor auditions. With Danni on maternity leave, and X Factor in need of a new judge, Katy Perry stepped in as a guest judge.
A group called Temple Fire kicked off the show in shocking style. They had some funny dance moves, but sadly their singing was poor, so after some honest feedback from the judges they went off with their heads hanging low.
Mary Bourne, age 50, had a brilliant voice and wowed the judges by singing ‘I Who Have Nothing’ by Tom Jones. Mary ran off stage excitedly with 4 juicy yes'!
The auditions moved onto London where Anastasia Baker had a second shot of becoming famous.
Anastasia auditioned in 2008 and just missed out on reaching the live shows. Her audition this time started poorly, but given a chance to sing a more modern song, she gave a great performance and sailed through to Boot Camp.
Over all these auditions were a success and I can hardly wait for next weeks show!
