Turkey has become the third country hit by an earthquake since the start of this year. Read on to find out more...

At least 57 people have died in an earthquake in Turkey. The Earthquake in the Elazig province in Turkey struck at 4.32am (2.32am British time) and killed the people as they slept.

It is thought that 100 more people were injured by the earthquake which measured 6.0 on the Richter scale.
