Spelbound dazzle the crowds as Basildon Sporting Village opens its doors

Britain's Got Talent winners, Spelbound, dazzled the crowds on Saturday, performing at the grand opening of the Everyone Active Basildon Sporting Village.

The Everyone Active Basildon Sporting Village, a new multi-million pound public sporting facility in Basildon, opened its doors to the public over the weekend for its grand-opening.

The event attracted hundreds of members of the public, offering them the chance to try out some of the new facilities, meet Olympic stars, including Jo Jackson and Mark Foster, and watch Britain's Got Talent winners, Spelbound, perform two new routines, in addition to re-creating their very first televised routine. 

After witnessing the gymnastic troupe perform, one audience member said: "I can't believe what I've just seen... they are just phenomenal!"

The brand-new sporting village sports superb gymnastic facilities and, as a result, has been approved as a training camp for the London 2012 Olympic athletes to ‘warm up’ for the Games.
