South Korean Special Forces take part in tough winter workout

More than 200 South Korean soldiers were put through their paces last week for a brutal training exercise.

The soldiers were forced to strip in the snow, swim in an icy lake, do push-ups in the snow and patrol in temperatures below -20 degrees celsius.

The training was supposed to toughen up the troops to prepare them to defend the country against any possible attacks from North Korea.

North Korea and South Korea haven't signed a peace treaty since the Korean War ended in 1953.

Some people are worried that a war will break out between South and North Korea now that new leader Kim Jong-un has taken power in North Korea.
