Should the 10 Downing St cat be fired?

People are saying that Larry the Downing Street cat should be fired because he isn't catching enough mice and rats. What do you think?

Larry is a four-year-old stray cat that was rescued from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. He was picked because of his love of chasing toy mice.

British Prime Minister David Cameron hoped that Larry would help catch the rat that was spotted scuttling passed 10 Downing Street earlier this year (see the video below).

However, a mouse was recently spotted at an important dinner at Downing Street, causing people to say that larry isn't doing his job properly.

David Cameron's spokesman said that they have no plans to fire Larry: "Larry brings a lot of pleasure to a lot of people," he said.

Larry has been in trouble once before for attacking a journalist.

What do you think? Should Larry be fired?

It would be unfair to fire him!
