Set of twins born in different years

An American woman recently gave birth to twins: one in 2011, the other in 2012.

Parents Brighid and Thomas Rosputni welcomed twins Rory and Ronan while the world was celebrating the arrival of the new year - one before midnight and the other after midnight.

Ronan was delivered at 11.37pm on 31 December 2011, followed by his brother Rory who arrived almost 40 minutes later at 12.10am on 1 January 1 2012.
