Is this a chupacabra?
A mysterious creature called a chupacabra or 'goat-sucker' has been 'found in America. But is it really just a bald dog or raccoon? Check out the video below and judge for yourself...
An American man has shot dead a hairless, wrinkled creature with big ears and long whiskers that he found in his garden in Lebanon Junction, Kentucky.
The man, Mark Cothern thinks that this creature could be a chupacabra - a mysterious creature said to suck the blood out of goats and other small creatures. He said that he shot the creature because he didn't know what it was: "Every animal has hair, especially this time of year," he said. "'What puzzled me is how something like that could survive through a winter with no hair. Everybody is getting very curious, you know. The phone is ringing off the hook. It's kind of a mystery right now."
An animal expert, Sam Clites, from Louisville Zoo, however, thinks that the creature which is about the size of a cat is a dog or a raccoon with a skin disease. He said: "It's hard to just what an animal is from just a photograph. This is an animal that's native to our area, most likely that is suffering from some type of disease."
