First News now holds the record for the fastest time to wrap a person in newspaper.

Earlier this month more than 300,000 people from around the world took part in record-breaking events for the seventh annual Guinness World Records Day, which commemorates the day in 2004 when Guinness World Records became the world’s best-selling copyright book.

Records broken on the day included the largest cream tea party, the largest gathering of people dressed as leprechauns and the fastest time to wrap a person in newspaper... which First News now proudly holds the record for!

Seven members of the team managed to wrap First News' Kelly (below) from neck to toe in copies of First News in 1 minute and 31 seconds, beating the previous record of 1 minute and 43 seconds.

Did you know that First News holds two other Guinness World Records? We also hold the record for the world's smallest newspaper and the fastest time to type the alphabet on an iPad... And we're not stopping there!

Can you think of another record for us to break? Comment below and let us know!
