Caroline Lucas has become the first ever Green MP. Watch the video of her below...

For the first time in history a Green Party member has become a Member of Parliament.

Caroline Lucas, who stood for election in Brighton Pavilion, won 16,238 votes. The previous Labour MP for the area received 14,986 votes.

The election of a Green MP is seen as a big step forward for people who are concerned with environmental issues.
