Elton John becomes a dad

Elton John and partner David Furnish have had an amazing Christmas present - they have adopted a son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

Pop singer Elton John and partner David Furnish have welcomed a new baby into their lives.

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas day weighing 7lbs and 15oz.

Elton John and David Furnish told USMagazine.com that "Zachary is healthy and doing well... We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment."

Elton John is already a Godfather to many famous offspring including two of the Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham.
