WIN! £1000 of outdoor equipment for your school
ADVERTISEMENT FEATURE
Hey teachers! The Trash Pack™ say: “Stick it in the trash and win £1,000 of outdoor equipment for your school!”
Enter your school into our poster design competition and you could win a fantastic prize for the whole school to enjoy.
What’s more, every pupil from the first schools to apply gets a fantastic Trash Pack collectable. The pupil who designs the winning poster will also see his artwork printed in First News for over 1 million readers to see!
The Trash Pack is the new kid’s brand of collectable squidgy figures called Trashies that evolve from some of the grossest finds from the bottom of the bin. All the gross characters, whether Mouldy the Milk Carton or Soggy the Tomato, know it’s in the trash that rubbish belongs. They want to inspire everyone to design a poster that will encourage others to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.
It’s simple to take part…just use the contact details below and if you’re one of the first schools to apply you will be eligible for a Trash Pack Campaign Pack which includes:
- A poster template for the pupils to design their poster on
- A rules pack
- Some great lesson notes on recycling
- Plus a Trash Pack gift for the first 100,000 pupils.
Apply by email to TrashPack@evolution-pr.co.uk or call 01327 701 702 to apply by telephone. Applications must be received by 18 February 2012. Packs will be allocated on a first come first served basis until the supply of 100,000 Trash Pack gifts have been distributed. Any school that applies after this allocation will be eligible for a digital pack and can still take part but will not receive the free gifts. Campaign packs will be delivered to schools by 5 March 2012 and once received the posters must be designed and the school’s favourite posters returned by 31 March 2012. Full details will be in the pack.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges including representatives from the Trash Pack and First News and the winning school will be notified by 15 April 2012.
The school whose poster is deemed the winner will receive vouchers to the value of £1,000 to be used for outdoor equipment of their choice.
The winning poster will be printed in a future edition of First News. Date to be confirmed.
