They took my best friend away from me, and I began to suffer from depression. They knew perfectly well that they caused my depression, but they started going to the head teacher about me being unhappy all the time, and I was the one getting in trouble. The bully never got in trouble, and now we have started in Secondary school she is still nasty, but I am getting my best friend back. Some bullies don't target one person, they bully different people but do you consider that as bullying? I don't count it as bullying but I count the person as a bully. So if we made it law that bullying is a crime then, I agree, the people of the UK would be a lot happier but on the other hand, it would be very hard to catch every single bully and punish them! There will always be a baddie out there so is there really any point? I believe there is still point. Once I saw on the news that some students had had a school trip to prison to see what it was like, and in conclusion, all of them decided they didn't want to commit a crime when they are older. Comments: I have suffered from bullying for about four years now. I think the bullies would stop if they thought that they would get into serious trouble. Also their parents would take it more seriously. In the playground the parents tear up the letters home sent by the school saying it is all too petty. I get my glasses broken, pencils snapped in half, books torn almost every day. My crime? I like to learn and do well as school, I wear glasses, my mum is sick so I have to look after her and then dont have the fashion clothes they have. I am not nasty or bad, just different.
