At 1.95m (6ft 5in) tall, Emma Cahill is Britain’s tallest schoolgirl.

Sixteen-year-old Emma is taller than everyone in her school and thinks she is still growing:

“I am really proud to be this tall. I like being a bit different. I’d like to grow an extra inch to catch up with my dad.”

Emma’s dad is 1.98m (6ft 6in) tall and her mum is 1.80m (5ft 11in). She has a younger sister who, at the moment, is the average height for her age.

High street clothes don’t fit Emma so she has clothes specially made for her and shoes made to fit her size 14 feet. Her uniform for St Mary’s Convent School in Worcester is tailored to fit her long legs.

    I wish I was that tall! Not really, I would hate to be that tall, I am quite tall anyway but not as tall as her!

    She's really tall, and she has clothes specially made for her-that is so COOL, not that I'd want to be in her shoes though(especially if they're size 14)!!!

    Wow, and I thought I was tall! I'm 5 8 and I'm 13, which is the average height for a fully grown woman! Rowie, it makes you different and there's nothing wrong with it. Besides, you can't really control it! Being tall is great, and in the future, you can use it against the teasers! ;) I know someone who's 12 who is 5 11 ish so it's not like you're the only one. :)
