Wimbledon Juniors have more luck than Andy Murray

Well, Andy Murray didn’t lift the trophy at Wimbledon but we had more luck in the Juniors.

British teenager George Morgan and his Croatian partner, Mate Pavic, won the boys’ doubles title at Junior Wimbledon (see page 24).

Fellow British player Liam Broady, 17, came close in the boys’ singles championship too. He reached the final but lost out to Luke Saville of Australia after raising hopes when he won the first set.

Liam, from Stockport, was on an 11th match unbeaten streak going into the final.

“It was a fantastic experience,” said Liam. “The crowd got behind me and really helped me out and really made me fight even harder than usual.”
