DINOSAURS were wiped out by at least two meteorite strikes, rather than just one impact, says a new report.

What killed the dinosaurs?

So what did kill the dinosaurs?

DINOSAURS were wiped out by at least two meteorite strikes, rather than just one impact, says a new report.

Up to now, scientists said a huge meteorite crater in the Gulf of Mexico was the event that meant doom for the dinosaurs.

Now they believe that a second meteorite in Ukraine had something to do with it, too. The experts think that the Earth may have been hit by a whole shower of meteorites, raining down over thousands of years.
