We were some of the first kids to see Smurfs 3D in the UK

On a rainy Sunday, after a fantastic birthday weekend, we arrived at Leicester Square Vue Cinema. We were told that we were some of the first kids to see Smurfs 3D in the UK.

On the door we saw men with Smurf hats. We were all getting really excited.

Upstairs was amazing – we saw Smurfette and Papa Smurf and everything was Smurf. There where Smurf balloons, Smurf face painting and Smurf photos!

Kids were everywhere having fun. We had blue Smurf popcorn and drinks waiting for us too.

Suddenly the screen was filled with singing Smurfs preparing for their blue moon ceremony. Clumsy, one of my favourite Smurfs, caused total disruption. It was very funny!

Gargamel, the baddy, wanted to extract all the power from the Smurfs so was trying to find the village. They ended up in New York where all the fun started.

We all really enjoyed the film. The adults too were laughing a lot as the jokes were really funny. I would thoroughly recommend this film. It was Smurftastic!
