We were mascots at a Premier League Match
On Saturday 7 May my brother, Daniel, and I had an experience like no other. Our favourite football team is Tottenham Hotspur and we were delighted to be mascots at the Premier League Match, Spurs vs. Blackpool.
Being a mascot includes several exciting experiences, one of which is going into the tunnel and meeting the football players.
We were lucky enough to meet Peter Crouch, Michael Dawson, Gareth Bale and many others.
As well as meeting the players we also got to walk onto the pitch with them at the beginning of the game. We were a part of the team photograph and then paraded round the outskirts of the pitch with the Tottenham mascot, Chirpy. Daniel was lucky enough to lead the way with Chirpy.
Each mascot got to hold hands with one player while walking onto the pitch, I was with Roman Pavlyuchenko, and Daniel held hands with goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
It was an amazing day that neither of us will ever forget.
We had a brilliant time with our favourite team!
