Whoever thought that Horrid Henry would be fighting to stop his school from closure? But the school inspectors are shutting Ashton Primary down, and as Henry doesn’t want to go to another school, he needs to act quickly.  What Henry doesn’t know is that it’s all part of an evil plot by the headteacher of rival school Brickhouse to make parents pay for the kids to come to his school instead.

Henry makes allies with his mortal enemies Moody Margaret and his brother Perfect Peter, and with a little help from his hamster Fang, Henry wins loads of cash to save the school in the Too Cool for School tv show. Look out for the fantastic Dick and Dom as hosts.

Theo Stevenson as Horrid Henry was great and we reckon he’s going to be a big star in the future. We got to say hi to him at the movie premiere. Theo (now 13) told us he used to love reading First News at primary school!

There are lots of funny action bits in the film. We loved the opening scene when Henry spies on Margaret and her friends and he thinks he’s got the latest in hi-tech army surveillance vision goggles but really he’s wearing a cardboard box with toilet rolls! It was also funny when Henry dresses as a girl to go to the local girls’ school and the girls get mad and chase after Henry when they realise he’s a boy.
