We just had Science Week at our school...
We have just had a totally amazing week at school and I wanted to share it with First News readers.
It was a Science Week, organised by one of our teachers, Miss Lewis. On Monday and Tuesday we had investigation days and our class made a golf ball float using sugar or salt dissolved in water.
On Wednesday we had an activity day. There were eight different Science activities and we got to work with different teachers and different children. We got to make kites, blowers, chocolate crunch and blu-tac boats.
Friday was cool because some parents came in and told us about their jobs. This was called a Science Jobs Fair. The jobs I thought sounded the most interesting were the police and the aromatherapist.
In Science Week we learned a lot as well as having lots of fun. I am hoping that we have another Science Week again soon.
