Wayne Rooney is the name that most football fans want on the back of their shirts.

The Manchester United striker topped a survey of worldwide kit sales during last season.

It’s the first time Rooney has been number one. He knocked Fernando Torres off the top spot with Steven Gerard coming in third place.
