Vettel wins first Monaco Grand Prix in dramatic race
Sebastian Vettel won his first ever Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, in a thrilling and exciting race.
The race was packed with lots of drama; a number of cars were forced to retire and a red flag was issued to stop the race, after Renault Lotus driver Vitaly Petrov crashed into the barrier.
The race resumed on lap 73 with Vettel managing to escape from the shadow of Alonso, to finish first. Alonso finished second and British driver Jenson Button, finished third.
It was a disappointing race for British Driver Lewis Hamilton, who was subject to a Pit Stop penalty after illegally taking over Fellipe Massa, resulting in collisions with Massa and Maldonado.
