US man shoots himself in the head with a nail…but doesn’t even notice!

Dante Autullo, from Illinois, accidentally shot himself in the head with a nail gun, but didn’t feel the 9cm-long nail in his brain for two days. 

The father of four only went to hospital after he complained of nausea and headaches.

When doctors took an x-ray, they were shocked to find the nail lodged deep in his brain and couldn’t believe he could still walk and talk.

They later discovered the nail was just millimeters from the section of the brain that controls motor functions.

Mr Autullo had to have surgery and is now said to be recovering well.
