UK largest in Western Europe by 2050

The UK will be the largest country in 2050. What do you think about this?

By 2050 the UK will be the most densely populated country in Western Europe, beating other countries like France and Germany.

The UK’s population rise to 77million people by 2050. In comparison France, which has twice as much land as the UK, will have a population of 70million.

Germany is currently the  EU’s biggest country but will see it’s population of 81.6million falls to 71.5million by 2050 because of low immigration and birth rates.

By next year the Earth’s total population will hit 7billion according to the figures from the Population Reference Bureau.

Should Britain try and stop it’s rising population? Vote on our poll at www.firstnews.co.uk/polls and let us know.
