Two-ton elephant injures keeper during playfight *video*

A two-ton elephant seriously injured his trainer when trying to playfight with him.

An elephant trainer suffered from fractured ribs and two punctured lungs after being charged by an elephant.

Louie, a seven-year-old two-ton elephant, pinned his trainer Don Redfox into a corner and seriously injured him after a playfight went wrong.

The elephant began to playfight with Mr Redfox. However, because he is so big, his playfighting seriously hurt the keeper.

Mr Redfox's family wanted the video to be shown to show people that the elephant wasn't mistreated and that it was an accident. As you can see from the video, the elephant has a nice big enclosure and Mr Redfox tries to back away from the elephant.
