TV cannonball stunt goes terribly wrong

A stunt for the TV show Mythbusters went spectacularly wrong this week, leading to a cannonball blowing a hole in a family’s home. 

The 15cm steel ball was supposed to hit a barrier, but went over the top and into a nearby neighbourhood. It went through the front door of a house, blasted through a bedroom wall, over a six-lane motorway and finished up inside a parked van.
