Trapped miners speak to families
Trapped miners in Chile speak to families for the first time in a month
Trapped miners have been able to speak to loved ones for the first time in a month.
Families queued to use a special telephone cabin set up to reach the men who have been trapped underground in Chile. The families were given one minute each to talk to the trapped men.
Officials are looking at plans to rescue the 33 men but there are fears it could take up to four months to reach them.
The miners were located 700m underground on 22 August after the mine they were working in collapsed several weeks earlier.
