National Plum Pudding day

Today is...

February 11 is National Plum Pudding day!

Though no-one knows when and where is started February 11th is National Plum Pudding day!

So what do you think a main ingredient of plum pudding is? If you said plums, you'd be wrong. In the 17th century when it was first made, people called raisins or other dried fruits 'plums'.

A plum pudding is basically the same as a Christmas pudding.
