Three-year-old talent spotted by Manchester United

A five-year-old aspiring footballer has joined the Manchester United development centre after being spotted at just three-years-old.

Charlie Jackson was first spotted by Manchester United talent scouts two years ago, but was too young to join their training school.

However, the club has now let him join, despite being a year younger than all the other kids.

His dad, 38-year-old Andy Jackson, says that there is no pressure on Charlie to become a top footballer, but he would like it if he played for Manchester City one day: "The moment he stops enjoying football is the moment we look at doing something else with him," he said. "There's no pressure on him at all but it would be nice if he plays for City one day."
