Three Glee stars to leave the show

Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will not appear in the show's fourth season, the show's creator has announced.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy revealed that three of the most popular members of Glee will be leaving the show next season.

He said: "You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticise you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and have them graduate."

Reportedly, the rest of the cast have said that they trust Ryan Murphy's decision.

All three of the stars are still set to star in the third season of the hit US show.
