Thousands switch off from US X Factor because of ad breaks
Thousands of viewers have been switching off from The X Factor because they’re annoyed about all of the ad breaks.
Commentators have also been critical of last weekend’s twist, which saw each judge vote off one of their own acts. Add in Simon’s comment that ratings of less than 20 million for US X Factor would be a failure (the first episode attracted 12.5 million viewers) and it’s not been Simon’s week.
