Third leopard attack in India in three weeks

A third leopard has been caught after attacking villagers in North India.

A leopard has been rehomed at Assam state Zoo after it was captured on the prowl in the Lakhara area of Guwahati, in India.

The leopard badly mauled two people, including a pregnant woman, on Friday after straying into the largest city in India's northeast Assam state.

This was the third leopard attack in the area in three weeks.

Three people were injured and one killed in a leopard attack on January 7, and a man was scalped in a previous leopard attack last week.

I bet that the local people will be terrified at the safety of their children. Also, I wonder what has triggered their attacks?
