The Queen Serves sausage and mash to school kids

The Queen becomes a dinner lady for a day serving lunch to school kids

The Queen served sausages and mash to children for their good attendance at church, during a visit to Sandringham.

It was the last day of the Queen’s winter break at her Norfolk Royal estate, before returning to London.

Charlie Adams, a helper at the Sunday school at the parish, said: “The Queen and the Duke spent a lot of time talking to the children and their parents.”

The Queen is pictured here catching the train at the start of her winter break to Sandringham on 17 December.
