The News Crew finds the ultimate 21st Century princess for a new show on the Disney Channel
Project Princess – Disney Princess and The Frog Movie Special is a brand new Disney Channel show, based on Disney’s brand new animated musical The Princess and the Frog. I was part of the show.
Amarah, Catherine and I were contestants put to the test in a series of challenges to find the ultimate 21st Century princess for a new show on the Disney Channel.
I managed to win the first round, which was based around fashion. We had to choose an outfit that we thought was most suitable for a princess but we were unaware that each item of clothing had a secret price tag. We were then asked if any of us would be willing to give something back as we had gone over budget. I thought that Amarah and Catherine both looked amazing, so I decided to give back what I was wearing, without realising at the time that this meant that I would win the challenge!
I loved being on the show. It was such good fun and I got on really well with the other contestants. The show’s presenter, Kate Edmondson, was like a big sister and was very funny. It made me wonder what it would be like to be a real princess. If I were one then I think that I would devise a law that everyone had to be nice and respectful of one another!
The Princess And The Frog is in cinemas nationwide from 31 January and don’t miss Project: Princess – A Princess and the Frog Movie Special on Disney Channel on Friday 29 January at 6.00pm.
