Since opening in March 2000 The Merlin Entertainments London Eye has become an iconic landmark and a symbol of modern Britain. The London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year.

The London Eye gives passengers the chance to view London from a 135m/ 443ft height and see up to 40 kilometres in all directions!

We sent the First News News Crew to check it out - watch their video review below and make sure to watch out for our reporter Barney 'squashing' tiny tourists below!

The London Eye carries 3.5 million customers every year. You would need 6,680 fully booked British Airways Boeing 747-400 jumbo jets to move that number of fliers!
