The Army in Niger have stormed the president's palace and are holding him hostage.
Army forces are holding the president and many MPs, after a surprise attack on President Mamadou Tandja’s palace.
The army’s leaders have promised that there will be elections soon, but have not given a date. They claim that they want to save the country from poverty and corruption.
Do you think people should resort to force to get something done? What if they thought the cause was very important? Does that make it right?
