Tesco Great School Run aims for a million

Organisers of the Tesco Great School Run are hoping to get a million kids across the UK to take part.

The two kilometre run is now in its seventh year. For 2011, organisers want to persuade parents to slip on their trainers as well, and take part alongside their sons and daughters.

To make it easier to arrange your school’s run, it can take place any time between 9 May and 22 July.

Registration is now open, and any interested schools can sign up at www.greatschoolrun.org.
