A teary farewell to Harry Potter at World Premiere

Teary farewell to Harry Potter at World Premiere

Stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint showed just how much they are going to miss Harry Potter by getting teary at the World Premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, last night.

Thousands of fans packed Trafalgar Square last night, just to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars walk the red carpet at the World Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Fans from all over the world flocked towards the world famous square; some days before the actual premiere. One young fan said: "I've barely moved from this spot in 40 hours... but it's all worth it. This might be the last time we see them all together."

And fans were not left disappointed: stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint all arrived nice and early to spend a little extra time meeting and greeting their dedicated fans. Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, said: "I am just so overwhelmed."

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and author JK Rowling took centre stage for an interview together towards the end of the premiere, which left all of them with tears in their eyes, as they all said one final goodbye to the ten-year film series. JK Rowling even said: "This is just so emotional... I don't think I've ever come closer to wanting to write another book as I have done tonight."
