Syrian truce ignored by fighters

LAST weekend, the people of Syria were promised a short break from the scenes of war they have faced for over 19 months. This promise was broken.

    That is really sad, especially for those innocent people who thought there might be a time of no explosions, gun shots or dying. Lots of people over there do not deserve to have this in their county!

    It is amazing how such a simple thing, like making a promise, is near impossible! All the innocent people that are dying for the selfishness of others. I'm glad I live in England, but I wish I could help those in need more.

    All those people who were hoping for a time of peace have been let down.The UN shouldn't do anything about it though,that will just disturb the people there even more,plus Britain doesn't need to get involved in any more foreign wars.

    While the fights in Syria are going on, the netrual citizens are also being caught up in the violence!

    Sad, and shocking that fighting continued even when there was chance to have peace.
