Sumatra hit by earthquake
Another earthquake has hit, this time in Sumatra, an island in Indonesia.
The Indonesian island of Sumatra was hit by a powerful earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale at 22.15pm last night.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre warned that a tsunami could follow, but after only a minor tsunami about 16in (40cm) high followed they lifted the warning.
17 people are thought to have been injured but there have been no deaths reported.
