Spring sunshine hits the UK after coldest winter in decades

The coldest winter in decades is almost at an end!

The sun shines on spring flowers that have bloomed in front of the Circus on March 5, 2010 in Bath, England.

The UK is finally enjoying a period of fine weather following what has been one of the coldest winters on record.
