Speedy sitters in Germany have taken part in the annual Office Chair Racing event.

Sixty-four competitors hopped on their chairs for the 200-metre-long race around a track filled with ramps and even jumps.

The racers reached speeds of up to 21mph as they whizzed around the course. However there was big disappointment when race favourite Heiko Winter, who dressed as a cowboy and decorated his office chair to look like a horse he named Jacqueline, broke his chair after the first jump.
