Snooker to get global tour

Bosses at World Snooker have revealed plans for a large global tour.

It is hoped that the World Snooker Tour will increase interest in the sport. The plans say that there will be at least 15 ranking tournaments, which is more than double the current amount. Countries such as Portugal and Germany could host the new tournaments.
