Snape is the most popular Harry Potter character

Severus Snape has been voted the most popualr Harry Potter character. Do you agree?

Severus Snape has been voted the most popular character from the Harry Potter novels.

Bloomsbury, the publishers of the Harry Potter series asked fans who was their favourite character was.

More than 70,000 fans voted and the results were announced yesterday with Severus Snape gaining 13,000 or 20% of the votes.

J.K. Rowling even revealed her favourite chrachter: "Harry, although I believe I am unusual in this, Ron is generally more popular - I love him too, though.

"Now that I have finished writing the books, the character I would most like to meet for dinner is Dumbledore. We would have a lot to discuss, and I would love his advice; I think that everyone would like a Dumbledore in their lives."

    I definitely agree!!! Snape is the best and Alan Rickman is a great actor!!! Go Snape!

    Really? I didn't like Snape as much as the other characters, but he was a very good actor. :)
