Six months is too slow: Somali children still need aid
It's been six months since the 20 July 2011 declaration of famine and 250,000 Somalis still need help.
Charities have complained that it has taken too long for aid to reach families who need it the most.
Save the Children and Oxfam have said that aid shouldn't take six months to reach people, and that it if was quicker, more lives could have been saved.
One of the problems is that there have been so many disasters that people feel like they have seen it all before, so do not bother to help.
More than 4million people in Somalia still need humanitarian aid – mostly in the southern regions according to the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA.
