Singer Amy Winehouse has died

Singer Amy Winehouse, 27, has been found dead at her home in London.

Police said, on Saturday afternoon, she died at her home in Camden but it’s not known yet how she died.

The singing star had won Brit and Grammy awards but had struggled for years with drink and drug addiction. She had been trying to get better in a clinic recently.

Her record label Universal called her "a gifted musician, artist and performer", adding: "Our prayers go out to Amy's family, friends and fans."

    :( I was at a party when I heard this and my Dad got a text with a joke about her death already. She was a very talented and wonderful artist and it is very sad that her husband went to jail and she went on drugs and drinks. :(

    Its really sad :( When I texted my best friend telling her she said that it was going to happen soon enough which is very true seeing as she had a lot of drug issues. The sad thing is that she had got of drugs and then started drinking loads of alcohol to help her get over drugs. About a month before she died she told her dad she'd had enough of alcohol. It was too late though :( I have literally read all the articles in the times about her :)

    Look Red, now YOU are the one who is disagreeing so practice what you preach , pleeeaase! It's so annoying for me I don't even want to come on this website anymore, recently I started to come back on slowly but now I want to go right back off!! Well my opinion is that she is good at singing and that's my say and I thought her voice was stunning !! So did many other people!! :) And how could you be so rude about her news going on for a period of time! Someone DIED Red, okay, just 'cause you don't like her it doesn't mean people should mourn her for your sake.:)
